Questions
What expectant mothers ask us first.
Straight answers. Don't see yours? Text it to us.
Are there any costs to me?
No. The prospective adoptive family pays your costs, including living expenses, counseling, and legal representation.
When is my adoption decision final?
In Florida, consent can't be signed until 48 hours after birth, or sooner if you're discharged from the hospital earlier. For a baby under six months, a signed consent is permanent and binding, so we'll go over it with you before you sign.
Does the father of the baby have to be involved?
His involvement is important. If he can't or won't take part, we'll need as much information about him as you have so the required legal steps can be taken.
How long is counseling available to me?
Any time during your adoption plan and in the future, at no cost to you.
